The Farm

Blackmoor Farm is our home and we look after the cottages and surroundings personally, so we are on hand to attend to anything that you need to make your holiday an enjoyable one and for you to visit us again.

Holiday Cottages

The first floor balconies have views over the countryside and each cottage is fully equipped for 6 persons, with colour TV, electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, as well as cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment. Bed linen (duvets, sheets, etc.) are provided. Beds are made up ready for you. Bathroom with full size bath/shower, please bring your own hand and bath towels. These can be provided at extra cost.

Both bedrooms have full size pine twin beds, which in one bedroom can convert to bunk beds according to requirements. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area.

Night storage heating is installed and with the ample insulation ensures that the cottages are warm in the early and late season. Hot water is supplied by an immersion heater.

Stable Cottage

This cottage, adjacent to the main farmhouse accommodates 2/3 people. It consists of a large lounge /dining room 24' x 12' with patio doors opening on to a small terrace with table and chairs; a kitchen with electric cooker microwave and fridge, and small hallway with stable door opening on to the stable yard where there is ample parking. The bedroom has twin beds, there is a separate shower room and a room with a toilet and washbasin. The cottage is carpeted throughout, with colour TV and storage heaters for early and late season warmth and, in addition, a coal effect electric fire in the lounge area. Water heating is by immersion heater.

All other booking conditions are the same as the "Blackmoor Farm Holiday Cottages" with bed linen provided and beds made up ready for your arrival.

Caravans

The well appointed three or two bedroom caravans number six in total and are in a beautiful setting on our own 36 acre farm. Each one is completely self-contained having its own bathroom comprising shower, wash-hand basin also flush W.C. They are all modern and in excellent condition and fully fitted out with a good standard of equipment. Naturally with only these few caravans, the resident owners are able to maintain them to a very high standard. The caravans are set in a lawned area with a concrete path to each one and excellent parking facilities are close at hand. The site is pleasantly sheltered by mature trees and there is every opportunity for a relaxed holiday away from the bustle of everyday life.
